It is my great honour to welcome you to the 23rd Soroptimist International Convention 2027, taking place in the beautiful and historic city of Prague, Czech Republic.

Across the world, women and girls continue to face growing and complex challenges. Yet together, we remain a powerful force for change.
We are Soroptimists — a global movement united by shared values and purpose.
We educate. We fight to end violence against women. We empower women and girls economically. We foster access to healthcare and a sustainable environment. And we continue to advance gender equality and human rights.
Many of us have walked this journey together for years — and many will be joining us for the very first time. Wherever you come from, you belong here.
The 2027 Convention will bring us together — to reconnect, to learn, and to act. It will feature inspiring speakers, visionaries, and changemakers, who will focus on our global goals and on what lies at the heart of empowerment: women’s health and wellbeing — both physically and mentally.
Because when women thrive, communities and societies thrive.
Let us celebrate our unity and our shared strength — and open our arms to the next generation.

Dear Soroptimists,
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our 2027 Convention in the beautiful city of Prague.
Every four years, we gather as a family of passionate advocates united by our mission to educate, empower, and enable women and girls to reach their full potential.
This year, we introduced Women’s Health as our Soroptimist International focus theme, recognising the urgent challenges facing the well-being of women and girls.
Health is shaped by education, opportunity, safety, rights, economic stability, environmental conditions, and access to trustworthy information.
Across the world, women’s physical and mental health, dignity, and resilience are influenced by forces that are increasingly complex and interconnected.
That is why we must continue to work on two fronts: supporting local action in our communities while raising our voice on the global stage.
Our Convention is a perfect moment to exercise our collective leadership.
For over a century, Soroptimists have crossed borders to transform the lives of women and girls.
In Prague, we will chart a bold path forward, strengthening our impact on women’s health and reaffirming our commitment to lasting change.
Together, we will write the next chapter of our story with courage, progress, and hope.
